Hi. I hope you are still in good health I don't know how or what you've done since January. But if you ever decide to go back to "the D-word" again, do this first to get rid of all your food cravings and keep your mind from being glued on food:

1. Eat at the same times every day, with no more than an hour's lee way. This will teach your body when to be hungry. (You probably knew this already.)

2. Don't change WHAT you eat; this is very important. Just every other day, for 21 consecutive days, eat EXACTLY HALF what you normally eat. If you usually have a sandwich and a bowl of soup for lunch, have half a sandwich and half a bowl of soup. Whatever you usually have for a snack, have half of it. Do this with all your other meals and snacks, every OTHER day for 21 consecutive days (not 19, not 20--21). From Day 22 on, drop the "half" day.

Along the way, write down all the changes you notice in your eating habits (there will be lots) and how you feel about food. All the best.
