I'm tired. I'm really, really tired.
Planning the wedding is taking a lot out of me, in small pieces so I don't complain as much. We have a web site up for all the wedding details, and a couple girlfriends and I have a weblog where we can share links and planning stuff. There have been roadblocks, but we're slowly tearing them down. Things are getting done. It is going well.
The 5 a.m. workout, after a rough start, is becoming habit. In fact, I'm usually awake by the time my alarm goes off. My weight is still just hovering where it has always been, but at least I'm being proactive. I'm considering trying a low-carb diet for a couple weeks just to give my metabolism a kick-start and then slowly getting back to a normal, low-calorie diet. I'm going wedding dress shopping this weekend, and I plan on taking pictures and seeing exactly how much I'd like to lose in the next six months. I took a set of dumbells to work, and I keep them under my desk so I can sneak in some lateral raises and bicep curls throughout the day. I can do a set of each, plus some overhead presses, in the time it takes my computer to boot up and log on. My male co-workers - older, married and terribly amused by the whole wedding planning process - give me funny looks, but they don't dare poke fun.
