We received the contract from our photographer last week and, after tax and everything, two photographers for six hours each is going to cost us $3545.19.

It's not lost on us that the amount we're paying for photos is more than some people spend on their entire wedding.

Have a meeting set up with a recommended photographer this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed!

Maybe this isn't amusing to anyone else. But I'm going to tell it anyway.

Our big splurge for the wedding is going to be photography, and we've got it narrowed down to our top two choices -- Anne Butler and Ashley Garmon. I prefer Anne Butler, but only because I like her web site better; in terms of price and style, the two are comparable. But... if I go with Ashley Garmon, I get an added distinction -- having the same wedding photographer and Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey.

I, too, could be a pop princess!
