That girl in the last photo looks like her head does not belong on her body.

Julie

She's a robot.

Yes, very I'm interested in resale. I haven't decided if I want to trek to the Denton outlet myself.

Here's some interesting sources for more-coverage dresses:

Latter Day Bride:

Modest By Design (less formal, not as bridal):

Yep, Mormon wedding dresses. There's some good looking dresses there, and the prices are right.

Thanks for those links, Lyn. I hadn't found those - and I'm definitely thining I will go with a more coverage style.

you will find that the simpler the dress, the more expensive it is.

I've seen some truly amazing wedding dresses at Clothes Circuit. It's where all the Highland Park women go to resell their clothes.

I like the simple one the best! Happy dress shopping...

What style to choose is totally a science, and your choices are totally dependant on your body type. Unless you are thin *and* curvy, in which case I hate you. :)

You know what I loooooove? The use of sheer. Like, there is this gorgeous dress that's just a tube around the bosom - you've seen them, I'm sure - the strapless kind. And I'm all like "lovely, but I'm not showing my armpit blobs! No way!" but then I saw one that had sheer 3/4 sleeves and sheer up-to-the-shoulder over the tube and I was like "omg! it's like a strapless without the blobs!"

What was the point? Oh yeah, use sheer to hide those less attractive bare areas!

Alexis

P.S. You might also want to check Eden if you haven't already - they make reasonably priced, reasonably elegant dresses.
